应山东省煤炭分级转化与低碳利用重点实验室的邀请，澳大利亚昆士兰科技大学张占营教授将于2025年9月16日（周二）来访并举行学术报告会。报告会安排如下：

报告题目：Biorefining of Agricultural Biomass into Sustainable Functional Materials

报告摘要：Agricultural biomass, such as sugarcane bagasse and rice husk, is an abundant, renewable, and low-cost bioresource for producing sustainable fuels and chemicals. However, the commercial viability of biomass valorization is currently limited by high production costs and the relatively low market value of many derived products. Biorefining of agricultural biomass into multiple value-added products, including high-value functional materials, offers a promising strategy to enhance the overall economic feasibility of such processes.

Prof. Zhanying Zhang and his team at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) are dedicated to developing biomass processing and biorefinery technologies for converting agricultural biomass into sustainable high-value functional materials. In this presentation, Prof Zhang will share their research progress and achievements in this field, focusing on the production of nanocellulose, nanosilica, and carbon materials for various applications.

报告人简介：张占营教授现任职于澳大利亚昆士兰科技大学 (Queensland University of Technology) 机械、医学和化学过程工程学院 (School of Mechanical, Medical and Process Engineering)。其先后于2018年和2025年获得澳大利亚昆士兰州Advance Queensland Industry Research Fellowship（昆士兰州“工业杰青”）和澳大利亚研究理事会（Australian Research Council）Mid-Career Industry Fellowship（澳大利亚“工业杰青”）。张占营教授长期致力于农业生物质资源和食品行业废弃物的增值利用研究工作，其在生物质预处理、多产物生物炼制过程开发、生物基功能性材料以及功能性食品成分等领域开展了广泛而深入的研究。截至到2025年9月，张占营教授共发表期刊论文126篇、会议论文12篇和书籍章节4篇；其期刊论文有约90%发表在一区杂志上(top 25%)，文章共计被引用约6000次，谷歌学术h指数41。最近5年，张占营教授主持和共同主持的研发项目总金额约700万澳元；其目前主持和共同主持多项生物质基功能性材料（纳米纤维素、电池负极材料等）和功能性食品成分（果胶、膳食纤维、多酚等）科研项目。张占营教授跟企业合作密切，已成功向企业转移科技成果2项；其开发的纺织品废物处理和棉涤分离回收技术已被一家澳大利亚公司成功商业化，年处理回收纺织品废物约1万吨。
